Are you a native speaker?

No, I am not a native speaker. In my view this is a real advantage as a languages teacher! I have first-hand experience of learning French and Spanish as additional languages myself. Therefore I thoroughly understand any difficulties you might face, and am able to equip you with strategies to overcome them.

Are you DBS checked?

Yes, I am fully DBS checked and am registered with the update service.

When does each block of lessons start?

Blocks of lessons are ongoing. When you book a place, I can advise you on a start date for the course you would like. I will factor in group size as well and your availability, where possible.

When and how do I pay for lessons?

All conversation classes are paid for in either blocks of 3, 4 and 6. Payment is due upfront 1 week before the course begins, enabling me to do the relevant preparation work. Payment can be made electronically by bank transfer, or by cheque if you prefer.

What happens if I miss a class?

Classes are block booked and paid for 1 week in advance of the block starting. If you cannot make a particular class, I ask that you please give 24 hours notice, where possible. If less notice or no notice is given, I will still require payment for the lesson.
